DMEK Donor Insertion Technique Using the DMEK EndoGlide (with video)

“This video demonstrates a new technique for inserting the donor Descemets membrane during DMEK surgery.

The tissue is folded into thirds (tri-fold) and delivered into the anterior chamber using the new DMEK EndoGlide through a 2.65mm corneal incision.

The technique ensures the correct orientation of the donor is maintained during insertion and opening of the tissue, in contrast to techniques involving injection of a donor scroll.”
